The AU1230XA accepts up to 12 sheets of paper at a time and shreds them into small pieces (3/16 by 1-9/16 inches), security level P-3. In addition to paper, the AU1230XA shreds credit cards, keeping vital information from falling into the wrong hands. The throat of the shredder is 8.7 inches wide and allows continuous shredding for 5 minutes.
